Gesundaberget

Make a visit to Gesundaberget whose peak is the highest point at Siljan. You can ride cable car to the top and enjoy the fantastic view! This is a great ski resort that suits everyone. Wide pistes with both steep slopes and delightful children’s slopes.

Gesundaberget is located at Sollerön, just 15 minutes from Åmåsängsgården in Mora.

Imagine a mountain without queues, just three hours from Stockholm, with wide slopes. The sloapes have steep parts and very good slopes for children. The drop height is the highest you can find this far south. The ideal ski area where all the family can have fun.

The lifts are open daily from 9-16.

Gesundaberget has in recent years developed the facility with:

  • Broadened and prepared slopes
  • New fun park and mini fun park for kids
  • Effort to improve the length of the cross country tracks
  • More barbecue areas

Grönklitt

Grönklitt offers a wonderful ski holiday. As a ski resort it is one of Sweden’s most southerly winter ski resorts, and one of the most snow-sure, where it lies on a plateau 500 m above sea level. In addition to 23 beautiful down hill slopes there are many miles of  well prepared cross country ski trails. Grönklitt is 3.5 mil from Åmåsängsgården and is a perfect day trip.

Gopshusbacken

This hill is run by IFK Mora Alpina. Longest descent 1350m. Slope is well-groomed slopes. Snowmaking and lighting. Highest vertical drop 180 feet. A snowboard track and warming hut.

This nice slope is IFK Mora Alpins home slope. 
Perfect for your ski camp  combined with accommodation at Åmsängsgården.

Training with gates and speed training is no problem.

  • Lighted track, Gopshus-Oxberg, 5 km adjacent to the slope
  • Competitions are often arranged

The view from the top is spectacular. 
Lift queues are quite rare.
