Midsummer celebration with dance, music and dancing games

At Moralife Åmåsängsgården we have a long tradition of celebrating Midsummer. The celebration is always on Midsummers day and led by our own troubadour K G Ståbis. The Mora Fiddlers arrive with horse and carriage. We raise the Midsummer pole together and then there is music and dancing, all according to the old tradition. For children it is possible to go for a small tour with the horse and carriage and to participate in the dancing games at the pole etc.  Many tasty things will be served at the restaurant, for example homemade ”läfsor” (thin bread), which is traditional swedish bread.
