Welcome to the best location and starting point for canoeing and kayaking in the area of Mora and lake Siljan. Here are waters free from boat traffic, shallow waters for beginners and possibility to go on wild expeditions for the more the more experienced. At Åmåsängsgårdens camping and cottage village you can rent all the equipment needed for a shorter, 3 hour tour, to a longer expedition for several days. We can provide the picnic, and then off you go on the waters of lake Siljan.

The company ”Nordäventyr” has it’s rental center for canoes and kayaks here. They only provide high quality equipment and are by the Swedish canoe Association, approved canoe central. They also have courses for paddling techique, companion rescue and self-rescue etc. The canoes are from Necky and Oldtown.
