As the Swedish summer is at it’s peak there are nine days filled with music around lake Siljan. The music festival ”Musik vid Siljan”

The festval ”Musik vid Siljan” offers different genres of music to be enjoyed in the authentic settings around the lake. With nearly 1500 artists, featuring fiddlers from the region of Siljan as well as internationally renowned top performers and ensambles, this is a great festival. The music offered is in the intersection of the traditional and the new, the local and the global, folkmusic and arts music, the small-scale and the grand.

The three municipalities Mora, Rättvik and Leksand take in turns to host the festival.
